Show Us Your Pointers: Fushicho Cosplays Jam from Guilty Gear X!
First off, I started with the big band I 'd be connecting to the wig. To get the shape I needed something I could make round however likewise keep light to keep tension off my head. I had an ingenious concept and decided to utilize a slim pool noodle and affixed the ends along with the help of some mighty duct-tape. After that I spray painted the band brown so if any parts weren't completely covered when I was finished with the wig-- It wouldn't appear as bright blue.
For the actual wig deal with the band, I started with the weft and reduce it into several pieces so I could work one small area at a time. I utilized clear silicon caulk and I would apply it onto the weft once I wrapped it around the band. I repeated this process till the band was even more than halfway covered in the wefts. I applied caulk all over the hair and allow it sit to dry for a few hours till it was completely dried. Then I took a wig head and put the Demeter wig and figured out where I wished to position the wig. When I figured out the fundamental place, I pulled back a few of the hair from the crown and put the band in place. Since the pool noodle is still as well thick to sew into the wig, I held in place with some T-Pins and wrapped the hair I pulled back from the front around the band to keep it in place, applied caulk, then began deal with the rest of it.
The hair was divided into four parts-- The hair at the crown to wrap around the top part, hair at each side of the head to wrap around the staying sides, then the hair at the back to cover wefts from showing. When the band was totally covered, I did a "criss-cross" pattern at the back of the head to prevent the wefts from showing from the hair that was utilized on the sides. I left one part right at the neck of the hair and reduce it off-- this was utilized for the hair standing out of the hair accessory. Any left over hair was reduced then utilized on the band on bare areas or to assist cover the area where the band and wig were affixed.
